Signing up for Logirate

Welcome to Logirate. Logirate helps you verify drivers before hiring, monitor performance in real time, and streamline your operational activities in your company.

To create your account and begin managing your driver operations, follow the sign-up process below.

What you need before you start

Ensure you have the following information ready:

  • Your registered business name
  • Business registration number
  • Active email address
  • Phone number
  • Approximate fleet size
  • Delivery vehicle types

Step-by-step sign-up process

Enter your business information

  • Business Name: Enter your legally registered company name
  • Business Registration Number: Provide your official business registration number

Select your role

Choose the option that best describes your position:

  • Fleet Manager
  • Operations Manager
  • Logistics Manager
  • Distribution Manager
  • Fleet Owner

If your role is not listed, click 'Role not listed' and enter your custom title in the field that appears.

This helps us understand our user base and improve the platform.

Select your industry type

Choose your primary industry from the dropdown.

Select your fleet size and operations

Select the range that matches your fleet: <10, 10-50, 51-100, 101-500, or +500 vehicles.

Delivery vehicle type

Select all vehicle types you operate: Auto-rickshaw (Keke), Bus, Cars, Tricycle, or Vans.

Create your password

  • Minimum 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter (A–Z)
  • At least one number (0–9)
  • At least one special character (@#&, etc.)
  • The system will validate your password as you type.

Accept terms and verify

Review and accept the Logirate Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Submit your registration

Click the Submit button. The system will send a 6-digit OTP to your email for verification.


OTP email verification and account activation

After submitting your sign-up form, you must verify your email address to activate your Logirate account.

Receiving your verification code

  • A 6-digit OTP (One-Time Password) is sent to the email address you provided during registration.
  • The email is sent from Logirate and should arrive within a few minutes.
  • Check your inbox and spam/junk folder if you do not see it immediately.

Entering your OTP

  • Return to the Logirate OTP verification screen.
  • Enter the 6-digit code exactly as it appears in the email.
  • Click "Verify" to complete the process.

Did not receive the OTP?

If the code does not arrive:

  • Click "Resend OTP" on the screen
  • Wait up to 5 minutes for delivery
  • Check spam, promotions, or junk folders

  • Always provide the correct email address during sign-up.

After Successful Verification

  • Once your OTP is validated
  • You receive a welcome email confirming your account is active
  • You are redirected to the Logirate app and can begin exploring the platform.
  • You may now proceed to sign in and begin exploring the platform.

Forgotten Password

If you forget your password:

  • Go to the Sign In page and click "Forgot Password"
  • Enter your registered email address
  • Check your email for a reset link
  • Follow the link and create a new password that meets the requirements above
  • Log in with your new credentials.

Completing your KYC verification

KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is mandatory for all Logirate partner companies. Until your KYC is approved, some features remain restricted.

When KYC is required (Restricted features)

Upon first login, a banner appears at the top of your dashboard prompting you to complete KYC. You can navigate the interface, but attempting to interact with operational features (such as adding/hiring a driver, viewing driver's active companies, previous companies or hiring conflicts) will redirect you to the KYC form.

Information required (Full access)

You must provide the following for each company director:

  • Name of director — Enter the full name of the director

Means of identification

Select one from the dropdown:

  • NIN (National Identification Number)
  • International Passport
  • Driver's License

Upload identification document

  • Upload the document in PDF format only.
  • Ensure the document is clear, legible, and matches the director's name.

Submitting your KYC

  • Fill in all required fields
  • Upload all necessary documents
  • Click Submit

The system records the submission date and time and sets your KYC status to Pending. Your submission is forwarded to the Logirate team for review.

KYC status tracking

  • Monitor your status in Business Information
  • Pending: Under review. Wait for approval.
  • Approved: Full access granted. The dashboard banner is removed.
  • Declined: Resubmission required. See below.

If your KYC is declined

Common reasons for decline include:

  • Documents do not match the submitted business information
  • Missing required documentation
  • Incorrect or unclear document uploads
  • Invalid identification type

To resubmit:

  • Review the decline reason
  • Revisit the KYC form
  • Correct errors and upload accurate documents
  • Submit again

The system resets your status to Pending and forwards the updated submission for re-review. You will receive an email update when your status changes.


Navigating the dashboard before and after KYC approval

Your Logirate dashboard experience changes based on your KYC verification status. Here is what to expect at each stage.

Before KYC approval (Restricted features)

When you first log-in after email verification:

  • The dashboard displays with a KYC completion banner at the top.
  • You can explore the platform interface, but some key features are locked. Any click on a functional CTA (such as "Hire Driver", "View active companies", or "View previous companies" or hiring conflict) will redirect you to the KYC form.

This ensures all partner companies are verified before accessing sensitive driver data.

After KYC approval (Full access)

Once your KYC is approved:

  • The banner is removed.
  • All features become fully functional.

You can now:

  • Create drivers via single or multiple entry
  • Assign vehicles
  • Search and hire drivers
  • View and update driver performance
  • Manage hiring conflicts
  • Access driver data and performance analytics
